Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo

The location was fantastic, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel had a 24-hour convenience store and was connected to a mall with popular shops and attractions. The rooms were clean and conveniently located next to each other. The staff were cute, helpful, and maintained high cleaning standards.

We enjoyed our stay at this place! The location was perfect as it was connected to a shopping mall, so we had access to everything we needed within walking distance. The service was also excellent. They offered dry cleaning and housekeeping, which was very handy for us. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including an iron, tea and coffee facilities, and a safe. We were also able to enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival.

Free luggage storage available and staff are polite and helpful. Good water pressure in the shower and unique magnetic housekeeping signs. a pleasant stay.

The hotel offers excellent convenience for travelers with 24-hour Family Mart and nearby eateries. It also offers great access to Ikebukuro station and Haneda airport limousine bus stop. The rooms are accommodating and come with kid's amenities. Having direct access to the attached mall is a nice bonus.

The hotel is relatively old, which might not suit those looking for modern amenities.

My purpose for traveling was to explore Tokyo for a week, and Sunshine City Prince Hotel was the perfect base for my adventures. The hotel staff was professional and helpful, and the limousine bus from Narita airport was convenient. Being attached to Sunshine City Mall, there were endless options for dining and shopping. The hotel even had a Family Mart and a laundry room. Taxis were readily available, and the hotel's proximity to Sunshine 60 Dori Street and Otome Road made it easy to find entertainment. The views from the 33rd floor were stunning, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was delicious, albeit crowded. this was my third stay with Prince, and I will definitely be returning.

The hotel is located in the Sunshine City area, putting you right in the center of everything. You have easy access to JR Ikebukuro station and the Sunshine City shopping mall, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with great amenities like a mini fridge, mini freezer, and safe. The friendly and helpful staff ensure a pleasant stay and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of both American and Japanese cuisine. The rooms on the higher floors provide a superb view of the city skyline.

The language barrier can be a challenge as the staff speak very little to no English.
